Hi, I’m Kaci—writer, wanderer, officiant, and big believer in second chances and soul-deep love.
I’m the woman behind Kaci’s West Texas Weddings, an ordained minister, a storyteller at heart, and someone who still believes in fairy tales—especially the kind we get to build ourselves. I specialize in creating heartfelt, personalized wedding ceremonies in the vast beauty of West Texas, from simple “just us” elopements to deeply meaningful vow renewals.
After 48+ years of living, starting over, and growing through what I’ve gone through, I’ve found that love—real love—isn’t perfect. It’s brave. It’s raw and radiant. And it’s worth celebrating with intention.
I’ve raised two incredible humans, Austin and Bethanie, and these days I’m also “Gran” to a crew of fabulous tiny humans who light up my world. I’ve also walked through grief, transformation, perimenopause, faith deconstruction, and the wild adventure of learning to care for myself inside and out. Somewhere along the way, I found joy in motion—cycling, skating, hiking, and lifting weights, all while raising awareness as a proud living kidney donor.
I bring all of that love, joy, humor, and hard-won wisdom into every ceremony I write and perform.
